Bristol Primary Heads Conference 2020

PHAB Annual Conference provides school leaders from the Bristol area an opportunity to valuable chance to spend time with colleague education leaders from across the city.

In 2020 the conference will take place on 12th and 13th March 2019, at the St. Pierre Marriott Hotel & Country Club, Chepstow.

 

Thursday 12th March

Starting from 9.30, a full day of leadership CPD delivered by Contender Charlie who will be running a workshop on Inspirational Leadership through Shakespeare’s Henry V. It is an engaging (and fun) way to ask questions about current leadership challenges in schools and relate them to Henry V’s leadership journey.

Then, from 4pm, An opportunity to partake in some activities to develop your thinking skills further, including clay pigeon shooting and blindfolded 4x4 driving. This will be followed by a delegate’s dinner complete with after-dinner entertainment.

Friday 13th March

A morning featuring a diverse collection of speakers, including:

- Will Gompertz, the BBC arts editor, will be arguing that every school should be an art school.

- Aisha Thomas will be asking how we can diversify the profession and develop our curriculum to better represent the city.

The conference delegate packages available are:

Two day residential, including activities, dinner and overnight stay - £205 for PHAB members, £300 for non-members

Two day non-residential (without activities and dinner or overnight stay) - £130 for PHAB members, £190 for non-members

One day (either Thursday or Friday)  - £85 for PHAB members, £125 for non-members
